Curtis James Jackson III, aka 50 Cent, is suing plastic surgeon Angela Kogan and her company, Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa, for breach of the right of publicity.
A hip-hop mogul complained about a photo taken during a trip to Miami in 2020, which shows him posing with the doctor.
Reports state that he agreed to take a photograph because he believed Kogan was a fan of his. However, she and her company continue to use the image to market their products.
The Shade Room featured an article about the growth of Brazilian butt lifts and genital enlargements in August 2022. As a result, these procedures gained a lot of popularity.
The article featured an image of Kogan’s Medspa and a list of celebrity clients, including 50 Cent. Teyana Taylor and Odell Beckham are among other celebrities who visited Kogan.
According to the accusations, Kogan used the photo without authorization, falsely implying that he had undergone penis enlargement surgery.
The 47-year-old asserts that he has never undergone such a procedure at Kogan’s Medspa, nor any other surgeries.
Based on his assertions, the defendant’s use of the photo has subjected him to ridicule and has irreparably damaged his professional and personal reputation.
As a result, Cent has filed a lawsuit against the company seeking unspecified damages for using the image.
