A feud and power struggle between Paris Saint-Germain forwards Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar threatens to divide the squad.

The recent dispute over a penalty brought some selfish issues to light. Mbappe got caught pulling out of the run because his teammate didn’t pass the ball to him.

Mbappe pledged himself to PSG during the summer, avoiding a switch to Real Madrid, but Neymar overshadowed him at the start of the season. After missing a penalty earlier in the game against Montpellier, Kylian Mbappe attempted to grab Neymar’s ball.

The Parisien reports that the two tried to continue the argument in the dressing room, where defender Sergio Ramos had to interfere.

Goal reported that Mbappe had hoped to gain more power at Parc des Princes following his signing earlier this year. However, Neymar looked set to depart briefly.

The Brazilian remained in France, scoring three goals and providing three assists in his first Ligue 1 games. Last year, Lionel Messi and Ramos joined his dressing room stock.

PSG have struggled with discipline and team ethic during their rise to the top of European football. Even though Ligue 1 titles have been forthcoming, their consistent failures in the Champions League have disappointed the club’s ranking.
