A couple is concluding their love chapter. Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin separated at the end of their 25-year marriage.

In court records, the 76-year-old Rambo actor and Flavin, 54, filed for divorce in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Thursday, August 19. The couple’s breakup came hours after Stallone drew attention by covering the Flavin tattoo on his arm.

An estranged couple celebrated their milestone anniversary earlier this year. “Happy 25th anniversary to my amazing wife,” wrote the Creed star in an Instagram ode to the Serious Skin Care cofounder in May. “There is not enough words to describe what this incredibly selfless, dedicated, patient woman has meant to our lives, and I only wish they could be another 25! Thank you, sweetheart!”

Sasha Czack was married to Sylvester Stallone from December 1974 to February 1985. Their sons Sage and Seargeoh were born in 1976 and 1979, respectively. The couple’s eldest child died of heart disease in 2012 when he was 36.

When he separated from Czack, he married Brigitte Nielsen in December 1985. However, two years after their marriage began, they ended their relationship.

The golden globe winner tied the knot with Flavin in May 1997, less than a year after giving birth to their daughter Sophia on August 26, 1996. Sistine arrived on June 27, 1998, and Scarlet on May 25, 2002. In their role as Golden Globe ambassadors for the 74th ceremony, the trio made headlines in 2017.

“We really do know how amazing this chance is, and we took it, and I’m so happy I’m doing it with them,” said Sistine at the ceremony in 2017. “We really are this close! I know it sounds like we’re just pretending, but we really are extremely close.”

The trio remembered the moment they learned about their opportunity, saying it was a family affair. “We were all sitting in the family room, and my dad called us in as if we were going to get some tragic news,” said Sistine. “I was like, ‘Oh, God, someone died!’ We were ready to take it, like, holding each other’s hand, like, ‘Oh, God, who died, something sad is happening.’ But he said, ‘I got the call. You’re going to be Miss Golden Globes,’ and we freaked out! My mom blasted the music, dogs were barking, and we were dancing!”

Scarlet agreed, saying, “It was a party in the Stallone house, for sure.”

The Oscar nominee has expressed pride in watching his children succeed and shares this on social media. “I am a very, very lucky man to have such wonderful, loving children who brought me nothing but joy,” an actor captioned a group photo taken with his daughters in July 2021. “Now I wish they would stop growing so tall! Lol.”
