Amanda Kloots, the wife of the late Tony-nominated Broadway star Nick Cordero, still misses him terribly a year after he died from COVID-19 complications. However, her dating life is beginning to pick up again.

During Friday’s episode of The Talk, Amanda explained that navigating the dating scene has been challenging. She also mentioned about her ex-husband, David Larsen.

The 39-years-old Amanda said,

“Both of my husbands I met doing Broadway shows. We became friends first; then we got married. Obviously, with Nick, we had a child. I’ve never actually had to date, and I just started dating again, and it is so crazy to be dating for the first time at 39 years old. And it’s quite terrifying and, and really out of your element, and it’s just, it’s hard. It is hard.”

Amanda, the mother of a 2-year-old named Elvis, says there have been some positives.

Amanda Kloots is dating already after losing her husband Nick Cordero to COVID a year ago?

She said, “It’s all wonderful. It’s wonderful people I’m meeting, and it’s been a great process so far. But I’ll just say it’s very hard, without getting into too many details. It’s very hard.”

Amanda has continued publicly to mourn the loss of Nick Cordero.

A throwback picture of her late husband Nick and their son was posted on her social media page on Thursday. She captioned the photo, “This came up on my phone, and it’s just too cute not to post. Kiss the ones you love.”

In the early days of the pandemic, the former Broadway actress and current fitness trainer dropped off her husband at the hospital without having a chance to say goodbye to him.

In an effort to save his life, Nick’s right leg was amputated, and he was kept in a medically-induced coma.

In one Instagram post in March, Amanda wrote,

“With COVID restrictions in place, we didn’t know which entrance was even open, so I left him on the corner. We didn’t hug. We didn’t kiss goodbye. We couldn’t. It was clear he was sick with something, and we couldn’t take any risks. I don’t even know if he said bye to Elvis or if we said, ‘I love you.’ I told him I’d stay nearby and to call me when he’s done.”

In January, Amanda Kloots joined The Talk after getting a large following of online supporters because of her daily updates about her husband’s health. Additionally, she danced to his song “Live Your Life” every afternoon at 3 p.m.
