Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds remain inseparable as a couple a decade after they first started dating. On Saturday, the couple celebrated the 10th anniversary of their first date by dining at the Boston sushi restaurant ‘O Ya,’ where it all began.
On her Instagram story, Blake wrote,
“If it weren’t for this place. We wouldn’t be together. No joke. No restaurant means more to us.”
Likewise, Ryan shared a selfie the pair took outside the restaurant.
The Deadpool actor captioned the photo, “Our favorite restaurant with her 4th favorite date.” The couple appears to love teasing each other, their way of showing their affection.
Later, Ryan uploaded an expanded version of the photo, complete with a disclaimer covering his face. He wrote, “Posting this again because I cut out my wife’s cute earrings. She trained me better than this.” He added, “Sorry if I let anyone down.”
Blake later shared his post to her story, adding, “That’s right.”
The Gossip Girl actress recently posted a photo of herself and her husband looking adorable on their date night outfit continued to flaunt her legs in a white button-down sundress with polka dots, which she paired with black sandals and gold hoop earrings.
Ryan, 44, looked dashing in a blue short-sleeve shirt with embroidered red arrows, which he paired with grey slacks, tan sneakers, and a tweed driving cap.
The 33-years-old Blake wrote, “10 years later. We still go out on our first date. But in much more comfortable shoes.” In addition, they posed in the kitchen with the staff before she shared the photo of them holding hands while discussing the food.
During the 2010 film Green Lantern, the couple were featured as the leading couples, where they met each other for the first time. After dating for a year, they got hitched in September 2012. Blake and Ryan share three daughters together James, 6, Inez, 4, and Betty, who is just 21-months-old.
In a recent interview with Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett on the SmartLess podcast, Reynolds spoke about the first time he met his wife, Blake Lively.
In an interview, Jason asked Ryan,
“What year did Blake and her little angel wings float down onto your life?”
During their conversation, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds joked about how poorly the movie ‘Green Lantern’ fared at the box office.
“I met Blake on the darkest crease in the anus of the universe called ‘Green Lantern.’ We were friends and buddies, and about a year and a half later, we went on a double date, but we were dating separate people. We always kind of kept in touch, sort of casually. Next thing you know, she was going to Boston, I was going to Boston, and I said, ‘Well, I’ll ride with you.’ We got on the train, and we rode together. I was just begging her to sleep with me.”
As a result of their quick connection, Ryan described their romantic relationship as fairytale-like. He added, “A week later, I was like, ‘We should buy a house together. And we did.”
