Cole Sprouse is an actor. He was born on August 4, 1992. His full name is Cole Mitchell Sprouse. His father’s name is Matthew Sprouse and his mother’s name is Melanie Wright.
Likewise, he also has a twin brother named Dylan Sprouse. Dylan is older than Cole as he was born 15 minutes before Cole. Despite being born in Arezzo, Italy, Cole and his family moved to Long Beach, California when he was only four months old.

Educational background
In 2011, Cole started attending New York University after deferring one year. Although he intended to study film and television production initially, Sprouse later enrolled at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study. He decided to study humanities while majoring in archaeology. The actor graduated in 2015 with his brother, Dylan. After graduating, Cole conducted some excavations and performed lab work as an archeologist. He performed summer digs in both Europe and Asia and was able to unearth a mask of Dionysus on a dig in Bulgaria.
Personal life and relationships
Cole began dating his Riverdale co-star, Lili Reinhart, in 2018. However, after being together for two years, the couple called it quits in March 2020. While Cole confirmed their breakup via an Instagram post, Lili later emerged as bisexual. After his breakup from Lili Reinhart, Cole began dating model Ari Fournier.

Acting career
Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright were encouraged by Cole’s grandmother Jonine Wright to start Dylan and Cole’s acting careers. Jonine herself was a drama teacher and actress, and upon her suggestion, the Sprouse twins started their acting career at the tender age of eight months.
Cole and Dylan appeared in many commercials, TV shows, and films where they shared a single role as one baby. Some of their earliest works include the sitcom Grace Under Fire, the 1999 film Big Daddy, and The Master of Disguise.

One of Cole’s most notable works includes the hit NBC sitcom Friends where he portrayed the role of character Ross Geller’s son, Ben. This was also the first role in which Cole did not work with his brother, Dylan. The Sprouse twins appeared as separate characters in a MADtv sketch. Following this, Cole and Dylan worked in the 2005 Disney Channel original series, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. The show was very successful and it ran until 2008. After this, both the Sprouse brothers reprised their roles in the show’s 2008 spinoff, The Suite Life on Deck.
Sprouse has been appearing in CW’s teen drama series Riverdale as Jughead Jones since January 26, 2017. Likewise, he starred in the 2019 romantic drama FIve Feet Apart. He played the role of William “Will” Newman, a cystic fibrosis patient who falls in love with a girl named Stella Grant. Like William, Stella also suffers from the disease and as a result of their illnesses, Stella and William are forced to remain 6 feet apart from each other. In addition, Sprouse starred in the podcast Borrasca in 2020.

Controversies
On May 31, 2020, Sprouse was arrested after being involved in the Los Angeles protest against the murder of George Floyd May 31, 2020. He joined the protests in Los Angeles for racial justice after the murder of George Floyd.
