According to Page Six on Wednesday, Geena Davis, 65, has finally finalized her years-long acrimonious divorce with ex-husband Dr. Reza Jarrahy, 50.
The Thelma & Louise actress and her fourth husband, Jarrahy, divorced in 2017 and have been involved in bitter divorce procedures ever since.
Davis and Jarrahy have been married for 16 years and have three children: Alizeh Keshvar Davis Jarrahy, 19, and twin sons Kaiis Steven Jarrahy and Kian William Jarrahy, both 17 years old.
According to Page Six, the pediatric plastic surgeon tried to share assets and custody evenly through mediation, but Davis obstructed the process.
Davis reportedly refused to share their assets and claimed that the couple was never truly married, encouraging her ex to ‘lawyer up,’ according to the source.
‘They were quite adverse to Reza, who chose to settle only to put everything behind him and be free of the nightmare Geena had given him,’ the insider stated.
After 16 years of marriage, the pair divorced on Nov. 15, 2017, and Jarrahy filed for divorce after Davis allegedly threw him out of their Pacific Palisades home.
The physician highlighted irreconcilable disagreements in the paperwork, which he filed under pseudonyms.
Reza was just 27 when he met Davis, who was 42 at the time, at a party in 1998.
On September 1, 2001, they married and began their family the following year.
Davis had been married and divorced three times before meeting Jarrahy.
After three years together, she married restaurant entrepreneur Richard Emmolo in March 1982, but the marriage ended the following year when her acting career took off.
She married actor Jeff Goldblum, with whom she co-starred in 1985’s Transylvania 6-5000 and 1986’s The Fly, in 1987.
They went on to collaborate on Earth Girls Are Easy in 1989, but divorced in 1990.
Davis was married to Renny Harlin, who directed her in Cutthroat Island and The Long Kiss Goodnight, from 1993 to 1998.
