Dorit Kemsley, 45, of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was held at gunpoint and robbed at her Encino Hills home on Wednesday night while her children, aged 7 and 5, were present.

A source close to Kemsley informed DailyMail.com that three males broke into her home shortly before 11 p.m. PT while she was sleeping.

Kemsley had just returned from a visit to London, where she and her husband, PK Kemsley, had attended her nephew’s wedding on Tuesday night.

PK was abroad at the time of the attack and is now returning to California to be with his wife, who has been described as “traumatized” by the occurrence.

According to the source, Kemsley’s primary concern during the invasion was the safety of her children.

Around 10.50 p.m., unknown intruders broke into the house by bashing through the children’s classroom door.

While Kemsley was sleeping, two of the suspects entered her room. They were standing at the edge of her bed as she awoke.

For around 20 minutes, the attackers ransacked the residence, seizing all of Kemsley’s jewels and handbags.

They did not enter her children’s bedrooms, and no one was hurt as a result of the incident.

Kemsley notified police and her husband, who was in London at the time, after the intruders had fled.

The identity of the culprits and the value of the stolen property are still unknown, according to Los Angeles police. The Robbery-Homicide Division is looking into the case.
