Considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers and mixed martial artists, Brock Lesnar won the NCAA Division I national championship in 2000. The only person to hold all of the primary heavyweight championships in the WWE, UFC, NJPW, and the NCAA, Lesnar signed with the WWE and won the WWE Championship at 25. 

In 2005, Lesnar won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Additionally, he has won the Royal Rumble match twice, the Money in the Bank ladder match, and the King of the Ring tournament. 

In 2014, Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania Streak. The WWE Championship winner signed with the UFC in 2008. Although he won the UFC Heavyweight Championship, Lesnar was diagnosed with diverticulitis in 2009, after which he retired from the company. 

A year later, he returned to the UFC and became the only undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion after beating Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Shane Carwin to unify the heavyweight championships. Although Lesnar retired from MMA in 2011, he made a comeback at UFC 200 in 2016. 

Although he defeated Mark Hunt, his victory was overruled to a no-contest after Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance called clomiphene. In 2017, he retired from MMA for the second time. 

In 2014, Lesnar made his film debut in True Giants. He also appeared in other films, including Foxcatcher and Countdown. 

Brock and Paul Heyman co-wrote Lesnar’s autobiography, Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival. It was published in 2011.

Born Rena Marlette Greek, Duke Lesnar’s mother, Sable, is a retired professional wrestler. In addition, she has also worked as a model and actress. 

In 1996, Sable started working for the WWE. Her feud with Luna Vachon and Jacqueline skyrocketed Sable to popularity.

Sable became the second WWF Women’s Champion after the reinstatement of the title into WWF. She was also featured on the cover of Playboy’s April 1999 issue, one of the magazine’s highest-selling issues. 

Sable quit the WWF in June 1999. Citing allegations of sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions, she filed a $110 million lawsuit against the company. However, WWE CEO and chairman Vince McMahon counter-sued her over control of her stage name, “Sable.”

They ultimately settled out of court in August 1999 after Sable reduced her seeking amount. The wrestler appeared on the cover of the September 1999 issue of Playboy using her real name. Likewise, Sable was also the cover star of the March 2004 issues of Playboy, along with Torrie Wilson. 

Although Sable made a comeback to WWE in 2003, she left the company a year later to spend more time with her family. After the end of her wrestling career, Sable appeared in The Howard Stern Show and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

Before his marriage to Sable, Brock Lesnar was engaged to Nicole McClain. Likewise, Sable was previously married to Wayne W. Richardson. The duo walked down the aisle in 1987 and welcomed a daughter. 

In 1994, Sable married professional wrestler and former boxer Marc Mero. Mero helped her to start her wrestling career through WWE. In 2004, the couple parted ways.
