Edward Furlong Early life, upbringing, and family
Edward Furlong was born in Glendale, California, on August 2, 1977. His full name is Edward Walter Furlong.
The actor is the son of Eleanor Tafoya. Tafoya worked as a youth-center worker. She was a single mother and raised Edward all on her own.
Even today, Edward Furlong does not know who his father is and, thus, has no relationship with him.
When Edward Furlong started his acting career, his custody was given to his aunt Nancy Tafoya and his uncle Sean Furlong. They had Edward’s custody for several years and served as Edward’s manager at the beginning of his career.

At the age of 14, Edward Furlong stepped into the world of entertainment with his breakout role as John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. He was awarded an MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Role and a Saturn Award for Best Young Actor.
After this, Edward shared screen space with Meryl Streep and Liam Neeson in the 1996 film Before and After. He also appeared in other films such as American Heart, Pet Sematary Two, Little Odessa, Pecker, Detroit Rock City, Animal Factory, and American History X.
Likewise, Edward was also a part of Aerosmith’s music video for “Livin’ on the Edge” and Metallica’s music video for “The Unnamed Feeling”. In 2001, Furlong had a role in I Cavalieri che fecero l’impresa, aka The Knights of the Quest.

Edward Furlong’s drug addiction
Since the start of his career, Furlong has battled alcoholism and drug addiction. In October 2000, the actor entered rehab to receive treatment for his cocaine and heroin addiction. However, he quickly relapsed and checked into rehab again in 2013. This was a turning point in Furlong’s life as he decided to finally overcome his drug addiction and become sober once and for all.
Relationships and dating history
In 1992, Edward Furlong started dating his 28-year-old tutor, Jacqueline Domac. During this time, Furlong was only 15 years old. In 1999, Domac sued Furlong, accusing him of domestic violence.
On April 19, 2006, Furlong got married to his girlfriend, Rachael Bella. The couple welcomed their son in September 2006. After three years of marriage, Rachael Bella filed for divorce.
The actress stated that their son had tested positive for cocaine during the court proceedings. Owing to this, the judge ruled that Edward Furlong’s visits to his son had to be supervised. Presently, Edward Furlong is in a relationship with Monica Keena.
