Ezra M. Miller, starring in “The Flash,” has been accused of stealing liquor from a Vermont residence while the homeowners were away, the state police report states. The actor, according to police, had probable cause to be charged with felony burglary into an unoccupied Stamford residence.
A release from the police department stated that the police discovered several bottles of alcohol were missing from the residence after being alerted to a possible burglary on May 1. However, even though police had probable cause to charge Miller based on footage and statements, no details of the charges have been provided by the police.
Adam Silverman, the state police spokesperson, reported that actor Ezra Miller, who previously played The Flash in numerous DC superhero films, took part in the incident which occurred on Sunday and received a citation for his actions.
As stated in the press release, Miller is ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court on September 26 as a part of the process for indictment regarding the burglary charge for which he stands accused.
According to the reports, Miller was arrested in April in connection with a barroom incident that occurred in Hilo, Hawaii, during which he was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct for his involvement in the incident.
According to court records, the actor pleaded no contest to the disorderly conduct charge on April 19 and was fined $500 for the offense. There was no evidence of harassment, and the case was dismissed.
