Football Association fines and suspends Leeds boss Jesse Marsch for misbehaving following his team’s 5-2 defeat at Brentford earlier this month.

Jesse Marsch was sent off during the loss for showing frustration when his team was denied a penalty in the second half. Referee Robert Jones used the pitchside monitor after Aaron Hickey collided with Crysencio Summerville.

Jesse Marsch will serve the suspension after the international break in Leeds’ home match against Aston Villa on 2 October.

In a statement, the FA said that Jesse Marsch of Leeds United FC has been fined £10,000 and suspended from their next match after breaking FA Rule E3 against Brentford FC.

It is true that the manager’s behavior and language in the 64th minute of that game were improper.

“An independent Regulatory Commission subsequently imposed his sanctions.”
