Tom Holland, the lead actor of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” has announced that he will be refraining from social media so that he can focus on his mental health.

After staying absent from digital platforms for the past few weeks, Tom Holland announced on Sunday that he had taken down his Instagram and Twitter accounts.

The video he posted on Instagram suggested he was depressed and that social media apps had negatively impacted his mental state. In addition, the negative things people wrote about him online angered him.

As he informed his followers, “I have taken a break from social media for my mental health because I find Instagram and Twitter to be overstimulating, to be overwhelming.”

The English actor added, “I get caught up, and I spiral when I read things about me online, and ultimately it’s very detrimental to my mental state. So, I decided to take a step back and delete the app.”

Holland continued, “There is an awful stigma against mental health, and I know that asking for help and seeking help isn’t something we should be ashamed of.”

In conclusion, he wrote a message to his fans informing them that he would be disappearing from Instagram once again but thanked them for their love and support. “I love you all, and I’ll speak to you soon,” he assured.

In response to Holland’s candid video, fans and fellow celebrities have praised him, including singer Justin Bieber, commenting, “Love you, man.”

Ricochet, who is known for his professional wrestling career, also commented on the post, writing, “Man, you’re an inspiration to so many. But what matters is your physical and mental health, so take care and come back better than ever!”
