On Saturday night, a woman watching Kenny Chesney at a stadium in Denver fell to her death from an escalator railing. The incident happened at Empower Field at Mile High, home of the Denver Broncos, at around 10:52 p.m. after the concert.

In their report, Denver Police claim the woman died as a result of an accident and deny she was pushed or shoved before slipping and falling.

According to Nate Magee, a police spokesman, “To my understanding, there was none of that. It was just an accidental fall; I do not think anyone pushed her or anything like that.”

“I was devastated to learn of the loss of someone after our show. There had been so much joy, so much heart coming from the people of Denver last night, and to hear this is heartbreaking. Life is precious,” Chesney said in a statement to the Denver Post later on Sunday.

The Grammy-winning artist continued, “Sharing music brings us together, and that love we share makes us so much more. For the lady who came to share that love, there are no words. For her friends and family’s loss, I grieve with them and for them.’

As opposed to being scheduled to start at 5 p.m., Kenny Chesney’s concert started at 4 p.m. As far as we know, no autopsy report has been released of the victim. The Denver Police Department tweeted, “If circumstances are deemed suspicious, we will update information on this thread.”.
