Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are negotiating their differences over parenting following the news of their separation.
The divorce was finalized on Friday, after nearly seven years of marriage, between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Both parents have agreed to share legal and physical custody of their four children and neither sides are contesting the prenup in place. Negotiations are made and now nearing settlement.
A different source has now told that the two couples are not consistently on the same page concerning their children: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, who will be 2 years old in May.
“They have a different vision of the world and how their kids should be raised. Kim will always support Kanye and his causes and encourage him with their kids, but her future with work, family and life in general are strictly up to her. She makes it happen”, the source says.
The source continued, “Kim will continue with her projects and so will Kanye. What they want in life and for their kids doesn’t always match.”
The news of their divorce follows a hard year for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and rapper, including Kanye’s unsuccessful presidential bid in tandem with another cycle of his bipolar disorder, as well as public drama.
The couple had seemed set on divorce last summer before reconnecting and spending time with their children privately.
According to multiple sources in January, Kardashian has been working with high-profile divorce attorney Laura Wasser and is planning to divorce West.
The source said, “There are few secrets in that family, and everyone knew of the frustrations Kim endured with Kanye and his issues and rants.”
Another source says that Kardashian has been balancing her family and work life since long time.
“Not living with Kanye won’t change her lifestyle much. She is used to balancing family and work”, another source added.
