Emma Roberts and her mother, Kelly Cunningham, are having a playful banter on social media! Recently, the actress reposted a photo of her 2-year-old son Rhodes that Kelly had shared on her own page, with a message filled with love and lightheartedness. Emma wrote, “When your mom posts your sons face without asking but you love them both so whatever 💖,”. Kelly, in true mom fashion, couldn’t resist joining in on the fun and replied on her own page, “The battle continues!!🤣🤣 I love you Q!! Touche’♥️.”.

This is just the latest episode in the mother-daughter duo’s social media hijinks. In 2020, Emma shared that Kelly had accidentally “spilled the beans” about her pregnancy, making their followers laugh and bringing a smile to their faces. Emma and Kelly’s playful relationship is a testament to the strong bond they share, and it’s always a joy to see them having fun together!

“I was keeping my pregnancy pretty low-key, but unfortunately my mother has Instagram. Mothers and Instagram, it’s a bad combination,” Roberts told Jimmy Kimmel. “She spilled the beans.”

She says that her mother would directly message fans on IG and confirm her pregnancy accidentally. Roberts’s friends learned about it they started sending her screengrabs, and she was taken aback. Emma asked her mother, ‘Mom you revealed my pregnancy,’ she goes, ‘Emma, you announced it.’ And I said, ‘No, I didn’t; that was a tabloid.’ She was like, ‘Oh, that wasn’t clear.'”

Her son, Rhodes as born from her ex Garrett Hedlund.
