Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Heartfelt Birthday Tribute to Son Moses on His 17th Birthday
Gwyneth Paltrow took to Instagram to shower her son Moses with love and affection on his 17th birthday. The actress shared a heartwarming picture of herself and Moses, who she shares with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, on a boat.
In the picture, she wraps her arm around her son’s shoulders while he holds the camera up, looking off to the side. Paltrow expressed her love for her son in her caption, calling him “the most exceptional, kind, loving human being.” She also shared how he keeps them laughing with his perfect impressions and inspires them with his harmonies.
Paltrow, a stepmother to her husband Brad Falchuk’s teenagers, son Brody and daughter Isabella, is known for celebrating her children’s milestones on social media. Last year, she celebrated Moses’ 16th birthday with an Instagram post, calling him “deeply special.”
The Iron Man star, also the founder of the wellness brand Goop, has previously spoken about how she cherishes every chapter of her children’s lives. “Especially as a mother, I’ve really cherished every chapter of their lives,” she said in an interview. “It’s funny, I always thought, when they were born, I was like, ‘It’s never going to be better than this.’ But then they were 2, and then 5, and every stage, I’ve been like, ‘This is better than the last.’ And I feel that way now.”
While Paltrow is known for keeping her private life away from the media spotlight, she occasionally shares pictures of her children, especially on special occasions like birthdays. The Marvel actress shared a rare photo of her son and daughter, Apple, on New Year’s Eve.
Aside from her role as a mother, Paltrow has also been in the news recently for winning a highly publicized ski crash trial in Utah. A jury found she was not at fault in a 2016 crash on the slopes with retired doctor Terry Sanderson. Paltrow countersued for $1 and attorney fees.
