Corinne initially shared the news of her father’s “medical complication” on April 12, following his incident while filming the Netflix movie “Back in Action” in Atlanta.

However, he has been steadily recuperating with prompt action and excellent care. Corinne Foxx took the opportunity to express gratitude for everyone’s prayers and support, also hinting at an exciting work announcement to come in the following week.

The news of Jamie Foxx’s departure from the hospital comes after Fox Entertainment recently announced that Nick Cannon would temporarily take over as the host for the sixth season of “Beat Shazam,” with Kelly Osbourne as a guest deejay.

Foxx has been hosting the popular music-based game show since 2017, and his daughter, Corinne Foxx, joined as the series’ deejay in the second season. Foxx broke his silence on Instagram, expressing appreciation for the outpouring of love and support he received during his health ordeal, along with a special shoutout to Nick Cannon.

Despite Foxx’s hospitalization, the production of the film “Back in Action,” directed by Seth Gordon and starring Foxx alongside Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close, continued without delay and remained on schedule.
