Jeremy Renner was critically injured while trying to save his nephew

As per the reports obtained by CNN, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office states that Jeremy Renner had critically injured himself when trying to save his nephew. The actor was attempting to stop his snow-removal tractor from sliding and hitting his nephew, and in the process, he was pulled under the vehicle and crushed.

It happened because the parking brake was not engaged, which would have stopped the snowcat vehicle. The tractor started sliding sideways when it was trying to pull his nephew’s truck out of the snow.

The report read, “The Pistenbully snow groomer began sliding causing Renner to exit the vehicle without setting the emergency brake. Although the Pistenbully had some mechanical issues, it is believed based on our mechanical inspection that the parking brake would keep the Pistenbully from moving forward. When Renner attempted to stop or divert the Pistenbully to avoid injury to (his nephew), he was pulled under the vehicle by the track and run over.”

It adds that there may be mechanical issues with the brake light indicator. His nephew helped him until the help arrived and airlifted him to the hospital. Renner injured his leg, and the doctor had to apply a tourniquet to his leg to stop the bleeding.

The neighbor who had called 911 told them the breath was shallow and strongly suggested a medical helicopter arrived at the scene. The Marvel actor said that he had broken more than 30 bones.
