Paris Hilton and Carter Reum are now parents

Paris Hilton announced on Instagram on Tuesday that she is a mother.

In her social media post, Hilton wrote, “You are already loved beyond words.” She shared a photo of a baby’s hand clutching a woman’s thumb.

Hilton started dating Reum in 2019 and married her in November 2021. In December 2022, Paris told PEOPLE that her husband, Carter Reum, and she were planning to have a baby. She mentioned that she had already begun the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) process during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hilton added “IVF is always a journey for everyone but we’re so fortunate that we have lots of healthy embryos ready and waiting to be part of our Cutesy Crew! As everyone knows I have an extremely busy work and travel schedule but nothing gets me more excited then (sic) becoming a mom in 2023!”

Hilton said, “We started going and doing it like a few months in because the world was shut down. We knew we wanted to start a family, and I was like, ‘This is perfect timing. Usually, I’m on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let’s just get all of the eggs stocked and ready,’ and we have tons of them just waiting.”

Last year she shared on Instagram “I’m getting tons of messages of people asking me about when I’m having a baby,” she wrote at the time. “The truth is my husband and I wanted to enjoy our first year of marriage together as a couple and we were always planning on starting our family in 2023.”
