Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe Reunite to Celebrate Son Deacon’s Album Release Party
Reese Witherspoon is one proud mother! She recently showed her support for her 19-year-old son, Deacon Phillippe, at his album release party. The “Legally Blonde” star was beaming with pride as she celebrated her son‘s accomplishment with her ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe, who also attended the event. The father-son duo shared sweet photos of the special occasion on Instagram, with Ryan posting a carousel of images from the party.

Deacon, who has been making music for a while, recently released his debut album, “A New Earth.” He shared highlights from the party on Instagram, including a photo of him and his mother with their backs turned to the camera while embracing. “[C]areful where you step we on a mission…whatta night,” the “Long Run” singer captioned.
The album release party was a family affair, with Deacon’s older sister, Ava Phillippe, also in attendance. The family took a few snaps together, including a photo of Reese donning a red and black tweed jacket with jeans and Ava wearing an olive-green crop top with black bottoms.
Reese and Ryan were married from 1999 to 2008, and they have two children, Deacon and Ava. The former couple has remained amicable and continues co-parenting their children. The family reunion comes weeks after Reese announced her divorce from her second husband, Jim Toth. The actress took to social media to announce the news just days before their 12th wedding anniversary.
“We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together,” Reese wrote in the statement. She also emphasized that their biggest priority was their 10-year-old son, Tennessee.
With Deacon’s album release, it’s clear that the talented young artist has a bright future ahead of him. In a previous interview, Ryan gushed about his son’s many talents, saying, “He’s about to go to college for music. That’s his primary focus. The acting thing he likes to do, and he will do according to what his appetite for it is, but his focus is primarily music.”
It is heartwarming to see Reese and Ryan put their differences aside to celebrate their son’s achievement.
