There will be no more T.J. Holmes or Amy Robach on the ABC network

ABC News has decided to Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes permanently. After their extramarital affair came to the limelight, the network put both of them on the bench to decide their fate.

However, on Friday, an official announcement was made where the spokesperson from the network said that Robach and Holmes agreed that it would be best for everyone to move on.

“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News,” a network spokesperson said in a statement on Friday. “We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.”

Additionally, the network President, Kim Godwin, emphasized that their relationship wasn’t violating company policy. However, they had to bench them because the controversy created a big internal and external distraction.

As far as the duo is concerned, the source says they are both shocked at how things turned out for them. They are proceeding with the divorce with their respective spouses, but they have a bleak future ahead in the media.

ABC claims that the reason for all the mess is that Robach and Holmes did not handle their office romance properly. Apparently, it made some staff members uncomfortable.
