She scored her first goal against Santos Laguna on 3 September. Pachuca defeated Guadalajara 2–0 in the first leg of the 2017 Apertura final on 20 November, but two goals from Arlett Tovar and one from Palafox helped the team win 3–0 on 24 November, winning their first Liga MX Femenil title. In 18 appearances, Palafox scored 8 goals in the 2017 Apertura.
2018 – As a member of the under-20 national team, Palafox received her first call-up on 27 November 2017. Her team won the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship. She appeared once at the tournament, losing to the United States 2–1 on 23 January 2018.
2020 – On 20 December 2020, Norma Palafox was transferred to Pachuca.
2022 – On 21 June 2022, Normal Palafox was signed by Atlas.
