A publicist for Olivia for 24 years was disappointed by the coldness in an interview. He told a news outlet that while the family is still grieving and not commenting, he felt it was unfair.

Given Olivia’s extensive Hollywood career history, Michael believes the decision wasn’t the right one.

She has undoubtedly contributed significantly to movies such as “A Mom For Christmas” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Apart from that, she also appeared on shows like “American Idol, “Murphy Brown,” “DWTS,” and “Glee.”

Likewise, Michael remarked that Olivia had many TV specials during her lifetime, including ABC’s “A Special Olivia Newton-John” and “Olivia Physical.”

During the 2022 Emmy, Olivia and other stars failed to appear in the annual segment commemorating celebrities who have passed away within the last year. Viewers took significant exception to this and responded with negative feedback.

Several deceased stars were part of the tribute, including Betty White, Bob Saget, Ray Liotta, Anne Heche, and Sidney Poitier.

However, most people did not expect Olivia to skip out on the tribute because of her contribution to the entertainment industry.

Olivia died in August after a long battle with breast cancer. She gained fame in Hollywood and around the world during her career.

It seems that Michael, like her incensed fans, believes that it is only fair that she receives her flowers from her fans.
