Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles glammed up for Don’t Worry Darling’s New York City premiere on Monday at AMC Lincoln Square Theater.
In terms of age, Wilde is almost a decade older than the 28-year-old Grammy winner. However, the pair have been going strong after working together on the Palm Springs set of the film.
Co-stars such as Gemma Chan and Sydney Chandler joined the couple on the red carpet. Despite this, Florence Pugh and Chris Pine did not attend the red carpet event.
The pair have been at the center of the ongoing controversy surrounding the psychological thriller film for some time.
While she split with Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis in November 2020, many questioned her sudden separation.
Currently, the estranged couple is battling over custody of their children, Otis, 8, and Daisy, 5.
The Independent Spirit Award-winning filmmaker recently denied any crossover between her relationships.
Wilde said in an interview, “The complete horses**t idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate.”
She continued, “Like any relationship that ends, it doesn’t end overnight. [But], unfortunately, Jason and I had a very bumpy road, and we officially dissolved the relationship towards the beginning of the pandemic.”
Olivia wore a black long-sleeved YSL gown and statement bracelets that stylist Karla Welch chose for her premiere.
The 38-years-old star’s brunette hair features side-parted waves by hairstylist Kiley Fitzgerald.
Mélanie Inglessis, the makeup artist, applied a delicate pink pout to Olivia, highlighting her green eyes.
In addition to directing the movie, the DC League of Super-Pets star played the role of a cocktail-loving mother in the psychological thriller.
Rotten Tomatoes currently has a dismal 34 percent critic approval rating (out of 64 reviews) for Don’t Worry Darling.
Housewife Alice, played by Florence Pugh, is the focus of the movie Don’t Worry Darling. She moves with her husband Jack (Harry) into a utopian community for his new business venture.
