Olivia Wilde is taking a stance after being served custody papers at CinemaCon by his former fiance and one-time boyfriend, Jason Sudeikis.

According to the reports, American actress Olivia Wilde has filed court documents of her own in Los Angeles, alleging that she was embarrassed and threatened by Sudeikis when he handed over the custody papers in public.

As originally planned, Wilde and her ex-fiancé decided that their two children, Otis, and Daisy, would be able to complete their school year in Los Angeles while Sudeikis was filming Ted Lasso in London during this time.

During her ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ presentation at the Las Vegas convention in April, a document marked “personal and confidential” was hand-delivered to Wilde. In the midst of the event at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum, she asked, “Is this for me?”

Although Sudeikis was confirmed to have sent the documents at the time, a source exclusively revealed that he was unsure when she would receive them.

One of the sources said, “Papers were drawn up to establish jurisdiction relating to the children of Ms. Wilde and Mr. Sudeikis. He would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner.”

The 38-year-old director, on the other hand, claimed that the “outrageous legal tactics” were calculated. As she stated in her filing, “Jason’s actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard. He could have served me discreetly, but instead, he chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible,”

Wilde added, “The fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and put our personal conflict on public display in this manner is extremely contrary to our children’s best interests.” Continuing, “Since Jason has made it clear that we will not be able to work this out for our children’s sake outside of the court system, I filed a petition for custody in Los Angeles.”
