Rapper Michael Lawrence Tyler, known as Mystikal, was booked in the Ascension Parish Jail on a third count of alleged sex crimes after being charged twice with rape in the past 20 years.

According to arrest records, several charges, which include false imprisonment and first-degree rape, were filed against Tyler on Sunday.

Previously, Mystikal was accused of sexual crimes after allegedly assaulting his hairstylist in 2004. After being arrested, he spent six years in prison and was convicted as a sex offender after his release.

In 2017, he surrendered himself to police after learning a warrant was out for his arrest after he assaulted someone in a casino in Shreveport. Eventually, the charges were dropped, and Mystikal was released from jail on a $3 million bond.

Several charges were filed against him, including simple robbery, simple criminal damage to property, false imprisonment, first-degree rape, and domestic abuse battery.

Michael Lawrence Tyler, also known as Mystikal, is an American rapper and actor. The chart-busters that propelled him to stardom were accompanied by “let’s Get Ready,” which has been his most popular album to date, both critically and commercially, gaining him platinum twice in the United States.

Since his musical career, Mystikal has released five studio albums, two compilation albums, one independent album, and twenty-five singles, many of which have topped the charts.

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Mystikal was born on September 22nd, 1970. He is currently 51 years old. Tyler is also a father of two children, a son, Million, and a daughter, My’chelle.

Apart from his music career, he has also made his film debut with the comedy film I Got the Hook-Up in the role of T-Lay Boy.
