In 1984, Razor began his career as a wrestler. His first match was with Dusty Rhodes in National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). They played the games as a duo.
The pair didn’t get to wrestle immediately. Moreover, they first worked as a crew since the wrestling industry was packed. But soon enough, they got their chance to shine.
In1985, Razor joined American Wrestling Association. He used stage names like Magnum Scot Hall, Big Scott Hall, etc. Moreover, he wrestled as a babyface wrestler as per the script, meaning a fan’s favorite wrestler.

From 1987 to 1990, Razor traveled to Japan for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Controversies involving Razor Ramon
In 1983, Razor was charged with second-degree murder. As per the reports, he shot a man outside a nightclub using his own gun as an act of self-defense. The charges against the wrestler were dropped due to a lack of evidence.
In 1990, he was found guilty of car vandalism parked outside a nightclub in Orlando, Florida. In addition, Razor had to pay a USD 2000 fine.
Furthermore, in 1998, he groped an elderly woman in a hotel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was arrested for it. Again in 2008, Razorwretched the podium after being roasted by a comedian in a show.
Two years later, in 2010, Ramon got arrested for drunk driving and refused arrest. In 2012, he was charged with domestic assault against his girlfriend, Lisa Howell. As per her statement, Hall choked her while drunk. These charges were later dropped due to insufficient evidence against Hall.
