RATM was performing live on Saturday night in Toronto. The band was playing its final song, “Killing in the Name.” One of the fans in a red t-shirt sprinted towards the front of the stage.

The bodyguard noticed him approaching the stage, blocked his attempt, and hurled him off into the crowd.

Tom Morello was, however, the collateral damage. The bodyguard made contact with Tom and knocked him to the ground, close enough to the stage that he fell off.

It was a tense situation until Tom Morello got up and waved to the crowd, to which it roared its approval.

It’s been a rough tour so far as RATM’s lead singer Zack de la Rocha has managed to injure his legs and ever since mostly sits down during sets.
