Born in November 2011, she was placed in foster care at just three to four months old, as her father underwent rehabilitation for drug addiction and her mother was deemed unfit to care for her.

In June 2013, at the tender age of not yet two years old, she was returned to her parent’s custody despite being unfamiliar with them, resulting in frequent tears.

Regrettably, Umaisyah’s life was marked by abuse from her parents.

Her father resorted to physically assaulting her with belts, hangers, punches to her thighs, and pinching her body, subjecting her to unimaginable pain. Tragically, their other children suffered similar abuse.

In March 2014, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded when Umaisyah soiled her diaper and played with her feces, infuriating her parents.

In response, her mother slapped her and inflicted further harm.

Her father, under the influence of methamphetamine, forcefully struck her multiple times. As a result, Umaisyah suffered a severe traumatic brain injury that led to a convulsive brain seizure.

What makes this tragedy even more devastating is that Umaisyah’s parents failed to seek medical assistance, fearing arrest due to the injuries they had inflicted and the father’s drug use.

In a horrifying twist, Umaisyah’s parents attempted to cover up their crime after her untimely death.

They incinerated her remains in a metal pot in the back of the father’s lorry, ensuring her body was entirely consumed by flames.

The remains were then concealed in a cardboard box, sealed, wrapped in cling wrap, and placed beneath the kitchen stove in their flat.
