Fortunately, he had his heart transplant in February 2021 and is now out of danger. But unfortunately, Sydney Mclaughlin’s father, Willie, couldn’t attend the 2020 Tokyo Olympics to cheer up his daughter.
However, he stayed at home and watched Sydney McLaughlin lift the trophy.
