Based on a source, a woman falsely claiming she was married to Pete Davidson was arrested Thursday in Staten Island for trespassing at his home.
During the afternoon, at 3:30 p.m., Michelle Mootreddy appeared at the Annadale property of ‘SNL’ and knocked on the door.
Law enforcement sources claim that Davidson was not home at the time, but his mother answered and told Mootreddy to leave.
According to the sources, Mootreddy entered the home through the back door after going around the side of the house.
At the time police arrived at Pete’s address, she said that she has “a telepathic love connection” with comedian Pete Davidson.
Mootreddy was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and two counts of stalking. In addition, she was also charged with two criminal violations, including harassment.
It has been reported that Mootreddy married Davidson and started a production company with him, but that press release turned out to be fake.
Lawyers for Davidson were forced to issue a release refuting the claim. The representative of 27-years-old Pete said, “Not a word of it is true. Mr. Davidson has no idea who this person is. We are investigating and considering all legal and equitable remedies.”
Mootreddy’s statement claimed the two were childhood friends who officially launched Bodega Cats Presents after getting married. However, the fake production company’s website has since been deleted.
In 2017, Mootreddy claimed to have graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
In response to the allegations, Mootreddy stated, the company was founded “to increase diversity and belonging in the entertainment industry by curating experiences that have a cultural and social impact.”
